The USS Valiant (NCC-3010) (also known as the Valiant III) was a Federation Royal Sovereign-class battle cruiser starship in Starfleet service in the 24th century. This ship, built at Salazaar Shipyards, was completed on reference stardate 2/9605, and was one of a number of vessels to bear the name.
The Valiant made first contact with the humanoid inhabitants of Haven in the Beta Cassius star system. (FASA RPG module: Star Trek: The Next Generation Officer's Manual)
- No specific history or definitive final fate was established for this vessel as its name was listed for RPG scenarios. The game designers appended the name as "Valiant III" in the book, even though there are conflicting sources both in the FASA games and licensed Star Trek in general pointing to more (or less) Valiants having been in Starfleet service up to that point. While the ship was listed as active in the game book set in 2364, it should probably be considered to be taken out of service by the time the Oberth-class USS Valiant is referenced in another source.
