The USS Volga (NCC-73196) was a Starfleet Danube-class runabout in service in the 2370s and assigned to Deep Space 9. (ST reference: Encyclopedia)

In 2372, Major Kira Nerys and the pregnant Keiko O'Brien took the Volga to the Gamma Quadrant to survey Torad V. They were injured when an asteroid struck the vessel and a fuel pod exploded. (DS9 episode: "Body Parts")

In 2373, the Volga was going to be used in response to a Dominion invasion and attack on Deep Space 9. (DS9 episode: "By Inferno's Light")
