USS William Decker

Memory Beta, the wiki for licensed Star Trek content.

For other uses, see Decker.

The USS William Decker (NCC-6001) was a Federation Decker-class class X destroyer starship in Starfleet service in the 24th century. The Decker was commissioned on reference stardate 2/7502, having been named for the noteworthy Starfleet officer, Commander William Decker. The Decker was decommissioned for service as a training vessel on stardate 3/0601. (TNG roleplay module: Star Trek: The Next Generation Officer's Manual)

Supposedly named after Will Decker from Star Trek: The Motion Picture, this ship's name might actually refer to another person as Will's full name was Willard Decker.
