The USS Yamato was a Federation Galaxy-class explorer starship in Starfleet service in the late 24th century, and the second Galaxy class vessel to bear the name Yamato.

The Yamato was a front-line combatant in battles during the Dominion War. (DS9 video game: Dominion Wars)

At some point in the later 24th century, the Yamato was refit to the specifications of a Galaxy X-class heavy cruiser starship, with an added warp nacelle and central weapon battery, along with numerous other changes. (TNG video game: Birth of the Federation)
