The USS Yorktown (NCC-90276) was a Sovereign-class heavy explorer launched in the 2370s. The Yorktown construction phase was due to end with a projected ship commissioning date of 2377. (Decipher RPG module: Starships)

The preceding Zodiac-class USS Yorktown was in service at least until 2373 (per TNG - Section 31 novel: Rogue), putting the naming of the succeeding Yorktown sometime after this date. The Decipher RPG editors took some liberty creating this vessel registry number, as canon producers intended all 2370s starships to have registry numbers beginning with the digit 7.
