In 2371, Edward La Forge joined the crew of the Zee-Magnees as head of the exobiology department. In 2372, they visited the planet Aralsee II. (TNG eBook: Slings and Arrows: The Insolence of Office)

The Zee-Magnees was also a randomly-selected ship name in the video game Armada II, though the software spells the name zee-Magnees.
