The United Space Initiative was a program conducted by the United Nations of Terra in Stardate 0/0310.15 and was a landmark signed agreement made in New York between the governments of the planet. Its aim was to focus world attention on space exploration and colonization of the planets in the Sol system. In order to accomplish this act, the Initiative led to the creation of the United Nations Space Force which began construction of a number of military installations over the course of three years. The actions of the Space Force and the Initiative led to development of bases on not only Luna but also Ganymede, Phobos and Ceres.
