The United States Secret Service (commonly referred to as just the Secret Service) was a law enforcement agency tasked with protecting the President of the United States of America.

In 1986, the Secret Service and its Russian counterpart were present at in Reykjavik, Iceland for the meeting between President Ronald Reagan and General Secretary Mikhail Gorbachev of the Soviet Union in order to ensure security. (TOS novel: The Rise and Fall of Khan Noonien Singh, Volume 1)
