Untz the Invisible was a Ferengi male and a Grand Nagus of the Ferengi Alliance.

According to legend, Untz dedicated every hour of his live to controlling and manipulating the Ferengi economy and was rarely seen. Some historians believe Untz never existed, and that for his more than seventy years in power, Ferenginar had no Nagus. Others believe that Untz never died, and is controlling the Ferengi Alliance's economy to this day. The divisions between "Eternal-Untzers" and the "No-Untzers" are many and any commentary on him can bring contention.

Untz is said to have coined the ninety-seventh Rule of Acquisition, "Enough is never enough". (DS9 novel: Legends of the Ferengi)
