If you'd like to learn more about working with the nuts and bolts of Memory Beta, here are a few links that you might want to check out:
- Manual of Style: Please be sure to read this before contributing, so you know how to accurately cite your sources, and search the site to make sure the article you want to make doesn't already exist.
- Policies and Guidelines: For a list of the policies and guidelines that we adhere to on Memory Beta.
- Wanted pages: For a list of pages we want most, although any contributions you make are greatly appreciated!
One other suggestion: If you're going to make comments on talk pages or make other sorts of comments, please be sure to sign them with four tildes (~~~~) to paste in your user name and the date/time of the comment.
If you have any questions, please feel free to post them in a member's talk page or the community portal. Thanks, and once again, welcome to Memory Beta!
Please do not arbitrarily change these to be in title case (where all words have their first letter capitalized). This is not the style we choose to use at MB (same as is done over at MA). Also, when you see that someone has changed your work back, do not take the effort to redo the same work without first looking at the history and secondly considering starting a discussion on the talk page to ask why your additions were removed. Please respond here to acknowledge you understand, or else you may be blocked until such a time as you do so. -- sulfur (talk) 03:05, April 17, 2014 (UTC)
Please be aware the acalltoduty.com, the ASDB website and most other websites are NOT VALID SOURCES. this wiki is for licensed sources which includes Star Trek published by Pokcet Books, Startrek.com and Star Trek Online, to name only a few. The website you have been using as sources are not valid, and we will continue to remove the invalid information that you post - Captain MKB 22:39, June 25, 2014 (UTC)
