V5 Red was a male Nasat who served as a forest quadrant governor on Nasat in the mid 24th century. Circa 2360, V5 gave his support to his cousin, V1 Red, who conceived of a transportation system for Nasat that would employ a network of pneumatic tubes with inertial dumpers for deceleration at each terminus. V1 constructed the first such tube between V5's forest, and that of fellow forest governor C29 Green.
