Valk was a male Klingon Defense Force communications officer serving aboard the IKS veScharg'a by 2381.
During the Borg Invasion of 2381, the veScharg'a and the IKS Sturka were deployed to protect the planet Morska. After the two Borg cubes were defeated, Valk reported an incoming communication from General Klag, ordering them to rendezvous with a Defense Force Fleet midway between the Azure Nebula and Qo'noS.
