The Valley of the Kings was a valley in Egypt on Earth, famed as the site where numerous tombs of Egypt's royalty were buried between the 16th and 11th centuries BCE.

Ven Kaldarren and his son, Jason Garrett, visited the Valley of the Kings in 2335. The following year, Garrett discovered a tomb similar to those in the Valley on an unnamed planet near Cardassian space. (TLE novel: Well of Souls)
