Vela 3AG was a star system in the Gum Nebula, an area of space in the galaxy's Beta Quadrant visible from Sol in the constellations of Vela and Puppis.

History and specifics[]

This system at one point had a number of planets, fourth being a body which had ten moons. When the Federation starship USS Titan entered the system, all that could be found were some outer planetoids and a spatial anomaly. (TNG novel: Q & A)
