The CDS Vendikar was a Cardassian science vessel starship in the 24th century, in service of the Cardassian Union's Central Command around the 2370s decade.

The Vendikar was commanded by an officer by the name of Tak in 2371 when Vendikar encountered the immense, powerful Hive starship as it crossed through Cardassian space. Investigating the Hive for technology that might prove useful to the Cardassian Union, Vendikar was completely destroyed by the monofilament weapon of the Hive's attack fighters.

A scientist named Garaia was also a crewmember aboard the Vendikar. (DS9 novel: Objective: Bajor)

Star Charts illustrates that sectors of Cardassian space touch the region inhabited by the Eminiar star system, home of the planet Vendikar, raising the possibility that this ship is named for that world.
