Venture class

The Venture-class (also known as the Talon-class) was a type of Federation scout ship in Starfleet service in the 24th century. (TNG movie: Insurrection; TNG video games: Armada, Armada II)

The Last Unicorn Games TNG roleplay module: Star Trek: The Next Generation - Player's Guide identifies the class as the Talon-class, which is also the name a Romulan starship class.
