Veronica Lake (14 November 1922 - 7 July 1973) was an American film actress who was extremely popular during the 1940s.

In an alternate timeline in which Nazi Germany had conquered much of the eastern United States by 1944, an SS officer told Captain Jonathan Archer that Americans were good at making films with stars such as Lake, Rita Hayworth and Betty Grable but not at fighting wars. (ENT episode: "Storm Front")
