Veska Province was a region on the planet Bajor.

During the Occupation of Bajor, Pak Dorren's resistance cell raided an ancient plutonium mine in the Province. This branch of the Bajoran Resistance wanted to smuggle a shielded nuclear bomb up to Terok Nor to cripple the Cardassian's control over Bajor. However, the payload was mishandled before the completion of the bomb's construction. This resulted in it detonating early with the blast taking out 20 kilometers of the countryside when it set off the rest of the mine. (DS9 novel: Time's Enemy)
