Virum Kalnota was the Zakdorn head of research at the Federation Department of Temporal Investigations in the late 24th century.

In December of 2381, Kalnota was one of the personnel assembled for a meeting in the DTI headquarters situation room to discuss the opening of a new front in the Temporal Cold War directed at the present. (DTI novel: Watching the Clock)
