The Vladivostok Genetics Institute was an academic center located in the city of Vladivostok, Russia, on Earth. The Institute bred many forms of animals to study them, including Siberian forest cats. In the mid 23rd century, Pavi Chekov, cousin to Pavel Chekov, studied at the facility (TOS novel: Enterprise: The First Adventure).
