The Vlugta asteroid belt was an asteroid belt controlled by the Vlugtans in the Vlugta system.
In 2370, Alsia attempted to con Martus Mazur by claiming that she was attempting to purchase the mining concession for the Vlugta asteroid belt but needed money to fund a study the Vlugtans wanted. Alsia later tried the same approach with Quark, but was arrested by Odo. (DS9 episode: "Rivals")
The Ferengi later began to mine dilithium in the Vlugta asteroid belt. One of the miners, Isihl, allowed Starfleet, Klingon Defense Force, and Romulan Republican Force personnel to use her section of the field. (ST video game: Star Trek Online; STO mission: "Asteroid Mining")
