Vol was a male Ferengi businessman in the 24th century. He owned a construction firm on Ferenginar, but under the reforms made by Grand Nagus Rom, his business suffered due to competition from female-owned companies. Vol played no role in Ferengi politics, but was invited by Chek to a meeting at the Ferengi Embassy to Bajor in late 2376 to discuss Rom's reforms.
