Vool was a Romulan male, the son of Admiral Valdore and Darule, and the brother of Vela.

In 2156, Vool, his sister, and his mother were kidnapped by D'deridex to ensure that his father followed the Praetor's directives. The group was later freed by Praetor Karzan. (ENT novel: Beneath the Raptor's Wing)
