Walker was a female Human member of Starfleet who held the rank of Ensign on Deep Space 9 in the 2370s.
Julian Bashir had become interested in Walker, although she turned down three dinner invitations. After Bashir activated Vic Fontaine, the hologram gave him successful advice on how to pursuade her to go out for dinner. They had it in Vic's lounge and the two began dating soon after.
