The Warp Five Complex was a research and development facility built in 2119 near Bozeman, Montana on Earth. (ENT episodes: "Broken Bow", "Singularity")

The loss of the USS Bonaventure years earlier was a factor in driving Zefram Cochrane to create the complex and push the limits of warp technology. (SCE eBook: Where Time Stands Still) Cochrane was present for the building's dedication, one of his last public appearances before disappearing later that same year. (ENT episode: "Broken Bow", TOS episode: "Metamorphosis")

Henry Archer worked at the Warp Five Complex from its start, and did much of his work on the Warp Five engine there. (ENT episode: "Broken Bow")
