Warrant officer first class is a title used in a military or service organization for a grade of warrant officer. Used specifically in the Federation Starfleet, a warrant officer first class has been advanced ahead of others holding the basic warrant grade. The first class warrant officer is in turn subordinate to the master warrant officer.
