Doctor Wataru Takizawa was a Human physicist during the 24th century.

In 2366, Takizawa boarded the transport ship Verity.

The Verity was then transported uptime to 2381 by a kerr loop. Takizawa attempted to maneuver the Verity so it could travel back through time and warn the past of the Borg Invasion of 2381. Takizawa was thwarted by Teresa Garcia who interfered with the ship's engines, so Takizawa and other passengers beat her. When Department of Temporal Investigations special agents Gariff Lucsly and Marion Dulmur investigated the incident, Tazikawa initially covered up the attempt at reversing history but Garcia revealed the truth.
