The Watraii Hegemony was the name of the government and state of the Watraii people. The Watraii were an off-shoot of the Romulan and Reman people who felt their people had been wronged by the Romulan Star Empire in ancient days. The Watraii Hegemony declared a war of extermination against the Romulans in 2377, a situation that was defused largely through the efforts Federation Ambassador Spock of Vulcan.
