Wilson-Chapel serum was a compound created by Doctors McCoy and Mickiewicz. Though not a cure, the serum acted as a palliative, halting the progression of ADF syndrome with high doses. The two doctors finished up the work of Nurse Christine Chapel and Dr. Evan Wilson. Wilson was on the original first contact team and he and Chapel discovered that Snnanagfashtalli, a felinoid officer, was of a species similar to the Eeiauoans, but proved immune to the syndrome, unlike the Eeiauoans. That immunity was the basis for the research done by Chapel before she fell into a coma.

The serum was named for Wilson and Chapel. (TOS novel: Uhura's Song)
