Woodlawn Cemetery is a cemetery located on Earth, in the Bronx borough of New York City. The cemetery served as the final resting place for a number of notable humans since its establishment in 1863, including the United States Navy Admiral David Farragut and author Herman Melville. In the years following the founding of the United Federation of Planets, a number of aliens had also chosen to be buried at Woodlawn.

Following her death on the USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-D) in 2366, the body of Ambassador K'Ehleyr was buried at Woodlawn. In 2375, Worf visited her grave for the first time shortly after he was appointed to take her old position as ambassador to Qo'noS. Marla Aster was also buried at Woodlawn, and her son Jeremy Aster met Worf while visiting his mother's grave. (TNG novel: Diplomatic Implausibility).
