The Woodstock Music and Air Festival was a rock festival held in Bethel, New York from August 15 to August 18, 1969. It proved to be one of the most famous musical festival held on 20th century Earth and represented an important part of the hippie movement of the late 1960s and early 1970s. Jimi Hendrix performed at the concert.
Although it was not generally known, a spotlight operator named Maury Ginsberg played a major role in ensuring the concert's success, given that he noticed that a cable connecting the speaker system had been unplugged and reconnected it. He had been given a lift to the concert by a member of the Q Continuum who later became known as Quinn. (VOY episode: "Death Wish")
