The Wraith-class was a type of stealth shuttle used by Starfleet in the late 23rd century. They had black hulls, and were equipped with near-silent anti-gravity generators.

Five Wraith-class shuttles were assigned to FCO Outpost 47 circa 2270, used by the First Contact Office for covert study of the planet Talin IV. One, however, was photographed by the Talin military during its maneuvers. (TOS novel: Prime Directive)

The ISS Excelsior of the mirror universe also carried Wraith class ships.(TOS video game: Shattered Universe)
