Doctor Wyatt Miller was a human male who was engaged to Deanna Troi from the time that they were both young.

The marriage was scheduled for early 2364, and Lwaxana Troi and the Miller family arrived on the USS Enterprise-D to make the necessary arrangements for the wedding. The wedding was canceled when Wyatt found Ariana aboard a Tarellian ship and the two left together. They had been telepathically dreaming about one another for several years. (TNG episode: "Haven")

In 2379 when Deanna Troi was discussing her upcoming wedding with her mother, Lwaxana commented that it had only taken her fifteen years to for another man for her since "that disaster with the Wyatt boy." (TNG novel: A Time for War, A Time for Peace)
