Yolad Belar

Yolad Belar was male Trill who lived in the 23rd and 24th centuries. He was the older brother of Joran Dax.

To attend the Tenaran Music Academy, Yolad had to seek a patronage from the Trill Arts Board, unlike his younger brother who was given a full scholarship. (DS9 short story: "Allegro Ouroboros in D Minor")

In 2285, Yolad was contacted by his brother and Yolad noted Joran had become more confident and colder, before Joran informed him he had been joined. Despite Joran's murder of a Trill Symbiosis Commission doctor, Yolad still loved and cared for his brother. (DS9 episode: "Equilibrium")

In 2371, Benjamin Sisko and Julian Bashir contacted Yolad, who revealed to them that his brother had been joined. (DS9 episode: "Equilibrium")
