Zannaduu IV was a planet located somewhere in the space of the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants, the fourth planet in orbit of the Zannaduu star system. A habitable planet, Zannaduu was the site of a Human colony by the 23rd century. One native animal was the zandan, a horse-like creature that was used by the settlers as a mode of transportation.

On reference stardate 2/08, a group of Humans left Zannaduu to settle on Sheridan's World, bringing a breeding stock of Zandans with them. (FASA RPG module: Conflict of Interests)

This planet obviously lies in one of the two quadrants that make up "local" space. However, since parts of the Federation cross between the Alpha Quadrant and the Beta Quadrant, it is unclear where exactly the world is, since the FASA Corporation RPG was made years before the canon quadrant system was devised.
