Zeta Fornacis is a white star, visible from Earth in the Fornax constellation, some 105 light-years distant. This star is located in the general vicinity of Yridia, 81 Cancri and Maluria. (ST reference: Star Charts)
Zeta Fornacis was one of the systems targeted by the Borg during their invasion of Federation space early in the year 2381. The Starfleet starship USS Grace Hopper was destroyed while defending the Zeta Fornacis system from the Borg. (TNG novel: Losing the Peace)
