Zeta Microscopii was a class F3V white star located just outside of the space claimed by the Federation government in the galaxy's Alpha Quadrant, near the Beta Quadrant border. The star was located in proximity to Ascella and Sabik. Zeta Microscopii was known to Humans as being visible from Earth in the Microscopium constellation, about 115 light-years distant.
