In the mirror universe, Zim Brott was a member of Captain Cal Hudson's cell group in the Terran Rebellion. He had at least one wife, who was also a rebel and served as medic for the group.

Zim took the place of executive officer of Hudson's newly constructed Defiant-class warship with the rank of Commander. However, he, his wife, Hudson, and many other rebels died when the Empok Nor shipyard exploded. (DS9 novel: Obsidian Alliances: "Saturn's Children")
