Zotat was, in an alternate universe accessed by an interdimensional Androssi device, a male Cardassian starship commander who, in 2376, was assigned to the Bajoran system under the command of Gul Elim Garak. That year, Zotat was ordered by Garak to take Starfleet Captain David Gold alive while preventing him from opening the Bajoran wormhole. After the destruction of two of his ships, however, Zotat ordered full weapons to be used against Gold's ship, the USS Gettysburg. (SCE eBook: Lost Time)
