Zurka was a male Klingon individual who served the Klingon Defense Force as first officer aboard the Klingon Empire starship IKS veScharg'a in the late 24th century.
In the year 2379, the veScharg'a led a fleet of sixty Klingon starships sent to Tezwa after the destruction of a smaller fleet four hours before. Zurka served at the tactical officer station in order to coordinate the assault with the other ships. Just as the veScharg'a was about to attack, the USS Enterprise-E used the Klingon Fleet Command codes to gain control of the entire Klingon fleet, completely shutting down power on the ships. Zurka claimed that they had no explanation for the power failures, but Fleet Captain Krogan knew immediately that it was the Enterprise. (TNG - A Time to... novel: A Time to Kill)
